A Midsummer Night's Dream
by William Shakespeare
April 20 - May 22, 2016
Directed by Ann Keen
Polarity co-founder Ann Keen brings her distinctive vision to a Shakespearean favorite, setting Midsummer in the American early 60's, a time of distinctive transition in our culture, as music, morality, and racial relations began a revolution.
"The fairy world in particular is wonderfully created and the incorporation of music was a fantastic idea."
--Jerald Raymond Pierce, CHICAGO STAGE STANDARD
