Our season preview will feature selections from next season's productions and musical numbers featuring Polarity ensemble members and friends.

In the Fall we bring you Eugene O'Neill's American masterpiece, Long Day's Journey into Night, directed by distinguished guest artist, Susan Padveen. In the Spring we present the world premiere of Bryce Wissel's zany comedy in outer space, Ephemera, directed by ensemble member Laura Sturm. Ephemera appeared in the 2008 Dionysos Cup Festival. Ephemera will be followed by the 2011 Dionysos Cup.

Polarity Ensemble serves Chicago theatre by helping the best local playwrights develop their scripts in our acclaimed Dionysos Cup festival. We serve by producing and publishing their work while maintaining the highest artistic standards. We serve by breathing new life into the classics and creating exhilarating new productions of beloved scripts. Doing this work takes countless hours from dedicated artists and friends. It takes time, and it takes money.
